Hi! I’m Mike, and I’m behind the camera for all of these photos. Window Seat Photography was born from two of my biggest passions: photography and travel. I have a natural thirst for knowledge and exploration, and my travels [44 US states and 10 countries] have only served to fuel that thirst even more. With jobs that have enabled me to travel extensively, I’ve been able to capture the world through my camera’s lenses, and that keeps me searching for my next adventure.  As a new Southern Utah transplant, those adventures should be a bit more frequently than in Minnesota, where I lived previously.

 

My art’s aim is to see what’s in front of me in a new and interesting way. Though many of my subjects may be familiar locations, I hope to give you a different window with which to experience them. Whether it’s the bustling streets of New York City, the desert solitude of the American southwest, or the sleepy town of Katoomba in the Australian Blue Mountains, I want to give you a piece of the world to hang in your home that inspires awe and wonder every time you see it.
